Programme

General format of the Workshop

This is very much meant to be a workshop, and most of the week will be dedicated to work in four groups.
We envision these four groups being formed on the first day, based on topic.

Each morning we will plan to allocate 2 hours for presentations, and each participant will be offered a 1/2 hour timeslot. The topic should be anything the author deems relevant for the topic of the workshop:
"The asteroseismic surface effects".

A high level of technicality is encouraged, but bear in mind that, e.g., 1D and 3D people oftentimes use language differently.

We also strongly encourage the presentations to include pending questions and problems, as inspiration for the afternoon work.

The presentations will be grouped, up to four each morning, in as disparate topics as possible, to provide inspiration for all four working groups in the afternoon.

The four groups will give short 5-10 min. updates on their work, at the end of the day, and a longer presentation at the end of the workshop. We envision the group work to spur further collaboration beyond the workshop and possible papers.
